Fire on the 14th floor of a 20 story MD.

1525 - Bn. 10 - Transmit a 10-77, no special units for a mattress fire on the 14th floor.  Attack stair "B".

1527 - Bn. 10 - Water on the fire, fire extinguished, units are venting, searches underway.  DWH (All special units continued per dispatcher)

1529 - Bn. 10 - PWH - Return the special units.

1532 - Div. 3 - Continue all of the Engines and Trucks.  Return the Rescue and Squad.

1535 - Bn. 10 - Under Control

1540 - Div. 3 - We had a mattress fire in the hallway on the 14th floor.  Secondaries are complete and negative.  Make this a 10-41 code 1.

Every Member of the FDNY up to & including BCs wear a rope & harness & do periodic retraining.

All members have personal harness and rope and units are called out to rock for periodic refresher training and all units have life saving ropes so yes engines are also called out to rope training for life saving rope use. E-91 did personal rope training this day.
