As of 1400 hours Rescue Operations is placing 3 Swiftwater Teams inservice due to the predicted forecast. They can be special called and will be checking potential areas. Teams will be inservice until 00:00. Will update more later back to sleep!

Tropical storm rules of thumb:

- Estimated rainfall in inches......100 divided by storm forward speed in miles per hour.

- For every day the Port of Houston Ship Channel is closed ( 3 days with Hurricane Beryl, 1 day with CloudStrike), the price of gasoline goes up a penny in the United States.
