With 87 and 84 not availabe, it is a 6 mile run for L 82 as the 2nd due truck for the Tottenville 10-75 and even longer for a FAST truck. South Shore is going to need another firehouse probably Pleasant Plains area as SS continues to grow.

167/87 became available from Manhole, then sent on another run. 87 Truck became 10-8 and responded 2nd due I believe.

L82 was FAST, a lot of other activity in area at the time.

On the PWH, FAST truck returned.

Doubt they do. Not a lot of calls

All it takes is one AH fire and one other incident happening on south shore at the same time - as evidenced here, to cause significant lapse in coverage. Not saying another firehouse is needed necessarily. Before L82 became available, L81 was announced FAST for this fire. One end of the borough to the other, quite literally.
