Battalion 45 requests confirmation that the Roosevelt Island Drawbridge is down, Manhattan confirms that the bridge is currently down.

Battalion 45: The correct address is 10 River Rd, it's 21 story class 1, the fire was in a dryer in the laundry room on the 1st floor, we're using 3 and 2 at this time.

no 263 or TL 117...because of the UN Meetings all watercraft is being diverted to the queens side of roosevelt island causing the bridge to be raised and lowered throughout the day. engine 521 and ladder 707 were staffed by queens firefighters to cover the island.

I believe the bridge was down at the time of Box transmission, but I can double check that, thanks.

Wow that is awkward to see the reserves responding, but this is a crazy week for Manhattan. Does the FDNY have a say on keeping the bridge down for their response?

the bridge was definantly down. fdny has no control over the bridge thats why they have to staff the island.
