Address: 80-16 Cooper Avenue - between 80 & 81 Street

Fire on the 2nd floor of a 3 story 100x200 commercial.

Initial ticket was a manual alarm activation.

1909 - E-319 - We have a smoke condition at this address. We're investigating.

1912 - Bn. 46 - Using 2x2 for a small rubbish fire.

1916 - Bn. 46 - MBFKD. The fire is on the 2nd floor rear bathroom.

1918 - Bn. 46 - Searches are negative in the fire area.

1920 - Bn. 46 - All Hands - Under Control

Back in the day this was known as Atlas Terminal. There were approx 50 blogs in the development. Very large area included independent chemical factory, hanzel & greater meat co... cabinet makers... and believe it or not a movie studio.... The area is Copper Ave to 79 Place, left down hill and following railroad tracks to 84 St. Left back to Copper Ave.
Chief JK. 46. responded to these class 3s allot but thank God no major jobs...

Doug, wasn't Hanzel and Gretel closer to 79 st on the south side of Cooper? I don't remember H&G being considered part of Atlas, but I was young and could be wrong. I remember buffing some rubbish fires near H&G on my bicycle in the mid 80's.

It was south of Cooper / 79 Pl down at bottom of hill. A few blogs were part of Atlas Terminal
