Adding a New Water Rescue Company

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES, WATER RESCUE 1, APPENDIX A

Emergency Procedures, Water Rescue 1, Appendix A, titled Water Rescue Companies, dated December 6, 2018,
is amended as follows:


Section 1.1, Ice and Cold Water Companies: Under D-8 Add: E-151


Affected page 1 (Rev. 12/18/18) reflecting this change has been issued and forwarded to all Bureaus and
Divisions for equal distribution to all units under their command.

Now assuming this is because E-154 has been disbanded

Does that make Squad 8 an Ice & Cold Water Company since all Squads are?

Squad 8, like the other squads, is designated an Ice and Cold Water Rescue Unit, Rail Cart Unit, Rebreather Unit, Rescue Task Force Unit, Wind Control Device Unit. And, at least for now, Squad 8 is also a Foam Depot.

Squad 8 is no longer the foam depot..the foam rig was moved to the quarters of Eng 167/Ladder 87..as well as all the extra foam

Clarification re Foam Depot ? Although the Foam Unit formerly at E-154 has been moved to E-167 (a Foam Depot), Squad 8 remains a designated/stocked Foam Depot. Future plans to be determined.

E-167 was also a foam company several years ago.
