Certainly very believable, there hasn't been any noticeable information from them recently nor have you heard about any major apparatus purchases from them.  They failed before when they were in Elmira New York in only were resurrected because of a major corporation which sold them off again a few years ago to private investors.  I feel sorry for any department said had equipment on order from them.

This has sort of been an ongoing saga for a few years now. I don't know what some of these departments that primarily use ALF are going to do as far as parts or service. A lot cities throughout the U.S. have ALF apparatus, namely L.A. City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Newark, Jersey City, Buffalo, San Francisco, Yonkers, New Rochelle, White Plains, etc. According to a member of the New Rochelle FD, which has 2 ALF Engines and 1 ALF Ladder. ALF have not supported the NRFD with parts or warranties for several years. I believe the situation is the same for White Plains, which has 3 ALF Ladders.
