I'm not aware of any apparatus that was lost.  Some rigs are being repaired, such as 137 truck, but again, don't know of any that were totaled.

I was trying to compile a list during November/December. Really didn't get too much information.

As far as I know West Hamilton Beach lost 3 pumpers and 2 ambulances when their firehouse got flooded.  They also lost a hurst tool, several defibulator devices as well as a large amount of portable equipment.

This from the latest issue of Fire Apparatus Journal Magazine:

"Hurricane Sandy had a major impact on numerous fire departments that were in it's path. Some departments in New York and New Jersey shore communities lost thier entire fleet. Many other departments will experience major issues with apparatus down the road due to salt and water corrosion. In coming issues, we will try to report on replacement apparatus for thses departments."
