Incident Location: 609 Grant Avenue
On the night of Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, the Baldwin Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Grant Avenue off Exeter Street. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put at least one hand line into operation for fire in a detached garage with extension to a second detached garage. The main body of the fire was quickly extinguished, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. One civilian was transported from the scene to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. All fire department units were under the command of Baldwin Chief of Department Dworsak [205].
