Bethpage NY (Nassau) Exterior Fire 06/06/2022

On the evening of Monday, June 6th, 2022, the Bethpage Fire Department operated on the scene of an exterior fire between Sunrise Dairy and a two and a half story private dwelling – both located on Stewart Avenue off Burkhardt Avenue. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation and were able to keep the fire extending further into either structure. No working fire was transmitted; however, Levittown Engine 627 and South Farmingdale Ladder 978 were called to the scene to assist. There were no injuries, the cause of the fire is under investigation, and all fire department units were under the command of Bethpage Chief of Department John Castles.
