One member of Ladder 26 was killed and three others were seriously hurt when the truck crashed into an apartment building after going through a large wall while returning from a run. No reason for the accidend has been given yet, but some are saying the truck lost it's breaks at the bottom of a hill. The truck is a 1995 E-ONE and is the busiest truck company in the city. Ladder 26 is quartered with Engine 37 at 560 Huntington ave, Roxbury, and was the house where the Firehouse USA series was filmed

I was in Boston buffing today, and I heard Ladder 26 transmit the urgent over the air. I was 5 minutes out. I arrived to the scene using the street they had gone down. Very Steep hill. It was a very somber scene, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved and their families. I posted some pics and a story on pcfn.org. I didn't know it was a fatal until I got home and saw it on the computer.

This is the company that was in the show Firehouse USA Boston a few years ago on the Discovery Channel. RIP LT.

RIP Lou  Thoughts and Prayers go out to all who are involved in this tragic accident.
