Boyd Street Fire 2020

You may not know it by its name but I’m sure you all have seen the video. This is that fire in Downtown Los Angeles that occurred back in 2020. It‘s the one where the members were coming down off the roof and the aerial ladder and were caught in a fireball. This is their story.
It‘s a bit long at one hour, and at times, tough to watch.

Great story about doing the correct thing and still end up with a possible disaster. GoPro video shows the danger first hand of dealing with the unknown red devil. It also shows the importance of wearing your protective hoods and gloves (guilty of that). Should be shown at drills.
