It's been a busy 4th of July Weekend in the city of Camden, NJ. There have been 13 working structural fires in Camden over the past three days. Mutual Aid has been brought into the city from surrounding departments. Currently, two Camden County Fire Task Forces are standing by outside the city.

The Camden Fire Department currently operates 5 Engines, 3 Ladders, 1 Squad, and 1 Rescue, with 1 on-duty Battalion Chief and an on-Duty Deputy Chief.

Below are a list of fires in Camden, beginning on 6/2/2016. All times are approximate. Most fires were in vacant dwellings, with heavy smoke and fire showing upon arrival.

6/2/3016

16:30hrs. - 1114 Jackson St., heavy fire in a vacant dwelling.

18:00hrs. - 1832 S. 6th St., fire on the 2nd floor of a M/O/R dwelling.

18:15hrs. - 730-734 Mt. Vernon St., heavy fire in a vacant dwelling, one member injured.

20:00hrs. - 743 Walnut St., heavy fire in a dwelling.

12:25hrs. - 560 Division St., heavy fire in a vacant dwelling.

14:30hrs. - 764 Cherry St., Engine 8 o/s reporting heavy fire showing from a vacant dwelling.

16:15hrs. - 890 Haddon Ave., fire in a vacant dwelling.

16:45hrs. - 1040 Princess St., heavy fire on the 2nd floor of a row dwelling.

17:00hrs. - 1319 Park Blvd., Rescue 1 o/s reporting heavy fire on the 2nd floor of a row dwelling.

17:15hrs. - 1203 Lansdowne Ave., heavy fire on the 2nd floor of a row dwelling, two members injured.

18:00hrs. - 1262 Sycamore St., heavy fire in the rear of a dwelling.

18:30hrs. - 771-775 Pine St., heavy fire through the roof of a row dwelling, 2nd Alarm struck.

19:30hrs. - 608 S. Broadway, two fully-involved vans up against a building.
