Caller stating only person in building and has a burn on hand.
Responding units reporting a smoke column during response.
First arriving reporting an industrial building with heavy smoke and fire, with two vehicles inside. Reports of large amounts of gasoline on premises. Fire attack has gone defensive. Smithfield, Carrollton, Rushmere and Suffolk units are operating on scene. Not able to monitor via scanner due to distance, will update when more info is received.
Oh man good thing Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department has their tractor trailer tanker
Heavy fire still showing, having trouble getting a water supply.
Regional hazmat teams called (Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and Newport News)
David, supposedly a marine repair business.
Newport News E3 backfilling Carrollton.
Multiple units still on scene. Route 10 (Benns Church Blvd) is blocked for crews to run hoses.
