Cincinnati Fire Department was called to a house in the North Avondale neighborhood today for a report of a house fire. While in route one of the first-due companies reported seeing heavy smoke in the area and the incident was upgraded to a working fire. Crews arrived on scene to find a 3-story A-frame house with heavy fire. All residents had evacuated the house, however one was stuck in the backyard due to live power lines down. Command requested an additional Engine and Ladder truck to the scene for manpower. Shortly after the 10-minute mark a second alarm was dropped. The fire was knocked down after about an hour. Second alarm crews were released, first alarm remained on scene for overhaul.
