Earlier today Cincinnati Fire Department was called for a house fire on Victory Pkwy near Xavier University. A full 1-Alarm compliment was dispatched (either because of multiple calls or smoke in the area reported by firefighters). CFD crews arrived to find a fire on the porch which was extinguished quickly and the scene was cleared in approximately 20 minutes.

While crews were wrapping up work on this fire, Cincinnati Fire Department was requested for mutual aid for a house fire on Carthage Ave in Norwood, less that 2 miles from the previous fire. This was a working house fire. Mutual aid companies were on scene for nearly an hour. (This is near where I live and I was able to get pictures which I will post tomorrow)
