An apartment building in Cincinnati's Camp Washington neighborhood caught fire Sunday evening. The building was supposed to be vacant but was apparently housing squatters. Multiple additional engines and ladder trucks (ones that were due but were busy at initial dispatch time) added themselves to fire. The number of engines and ladders were the equivalent of a 2-Alarm Fire (a full 2-Alarm would have included an additional Heavy Rescue, Medic, and ALS Supervisor).
Total units on scene: Engine 12, Engine 21, Engine 35, Engine 1, Engine 34, Engine 20, Engine 19, Ladder 20, Ladder 35, Ladder 19, Ladder 29, Heavy Rescue 14, Medic 12, Medic 35, ALS 34, District 3, District 2, Safety Officer 2, Car 5 (Assistant Chief-Fire Prevention), Car 541 (Investigator)
