"69mets", myself, and many others on here who are, or were, ever on the fire dept., whether it was a 60 man dept or a 10,000 man dept, I'm willing to bet that none of us ever had to work for a chief like that. And I understand we all get our bad days but ....

We also have many members on this site that are, or were, bosses in other types of work. From Con Ed supervisors, School Principals, Military Bosses, and Police Sergents. I don't think they have ever done something like this.

Somehow, if this is true, I put him in the class with that Boston Chief of Dept who ran away when the members of his dept ran into the streets to help those injuried civilians of the Boston Bombing.

  Maybe I'm forgetting, but I can NEVER remember any chiefs acting in this way.
