At around 6:40pm on Tuesday, the Columbus Division of Fire was dispatched to a fire at a vacant school building on the city's southeast side. Crews arrived to find heavy fire throughout. The fire was primarily fought defensively. Crews had to deal with water issues, live power lines down, and smell of natural gas. Additional medics were requested and one firefighter was treater for heat exhaustion
