Columbus firefighters were dispatched to a report of a possible gas leak at the Kelton House Museum on Monday. While the firefighters were inside the building investigating, an explosion occurred causing part of the building to collapse. The firefighters were able to escape the building uninjured. All employees and guests of the museum evacuated prior to the explosion and were uninjured.
