Our site's owner is celebrating a career mile stone

LT Thomas Bendick is celebrating his 20th Year with the FDNY

Lt Bendick has several years serving the citizens of New York City.

Beginning his career with the NYC EMS.

Then beginning his career as an FDNY member following in his fathers footsteps.

He spent a few years in the heart of Manhattan at E-65. (Not sure where he was before that or after)

When he was promoted to LT he covered for a little while at L-46 in the Kingsbridge Section of Da Bronx. Assigned to L-45 in Washington Heights for a little time being. Now is a LT at E-66 in Co-OP City Da Bronx.

Congrats LT here's to 20 more years

Congratulations Lt Bendick.

Thank you for all you do for us with this web site. It was your idea and you were the guy that started it all. We are ALL very grateful for that.

Lt Bendick had worked NYC EMS before going on the FDNY. He was working and survived the 9/11 attacks.

He's a father of two and uncle to, I think thirteen. One of his nephews, John, now working FDNY/EMS.

His father of course, Retired FDNY Captain John Bendick.

Best wishes on this 20th year anniversary.

Thanks Tom,
Uncle Willy
