Copaigue NY (Suffolk) Working Fire 2/14/23

On the night of Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 the Copiague Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on Oak Street off Great Neck Road. Firefighters put multiple hand lines into operation for a fire in a one and a half story private dwelling with extension into a two and a half story private dwelling on the exposure two side. Lindenhurst, North Lindenhurst, Amityville, and North Amityville were among the neighboring departments called to assist. All occupants made it safely out of both residences and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Copiague Chief of Department Miller [1-3-30] had command of the incident.
