Copaigue NY (Suffolk) Working Fire 7/13/23

The Copiague Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on the morning of Thursday, July 13th, 2023. Firefighters put at least two hand lines into operation for a fire in the basement with extension above in a two-story private dwelling on Howard Avenue at the corner of Audley Court. Lindenhurst, North Lindenhurst, and Amityville were among the departments called to the scene. The scene was placed under control within one hour and the cause of the fire is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Copiague Chief of Department Miller [1-3-30].
