A single wide mobile home was engulfed in fire this morning at 0618 hours. The man who lived there was able to escape with his dog. The fire was at 41 Cuffie Road. The Randolph District FD assisted by the Farmville FD extinguished the fire with two 1 and 3/4 inch lines. The home was completely gutted by fire and the occupant had no insurance. The Red Cross was called for relocation. The RDFD was back in service at 0813 hours.
