Diamond Plate Board used by FAST Truck?

The BIG silver one on legs?  Or the little clip board with the cards on it?

Its not a FAST trucks board.  Its a command board carried by chiefs, used when they set up a command post at multiple alarms.  They are custom made by CON-ED if I remember correctly.  The FAST truck OVM will report to the command chief to retrieve the FAST radio and he will stay put with the command chief and monitor the radio for may-days.  The FAST officer and OVM will look at the board to get an idea what companies are operating and their locations in the event the FAST team needs to go to work.

The little clip board is for the OVM to write down the info he hears.  Who transmitted the may-day...LUNA...Location, Unit, Name, and Assignement of member missing.  The cards have the radio IDs on them, its aides in IDing the member who transmitted the may-day in the event the transmittion was not clear.  It will tell them the company, company type, and position of the member....it can be checked against the BF-4 (ridding list) to look up the name, if need be.

Who gets the FAST radio is determined by the company, each company has their own SOP on who gets the radio from the BN. Including with the FAST radio is a quick reference card on how to break down the radio identifiers. Also all companies that have a spare radio will be on a print out that's updated at the start of each tour.
