Does anyone remember the Rescue 8 TV Show?

Based on L A County Rescue. Aired in 1958, 1959

Of course Kevin, I remember it. One of the guys name was Wes. I don't remember the other guys name. But I tuned in every week to see that black and white TV series called "Rescue 8" based on the L.A. County Fire Dept.

Jim Davis, whose most notable role was Jock Ewing" in Dallas starred in it. It was short lived having only 73 episodes which began in Sept. of 1958. The stars were;

Wes Cameron = Jim Davis
Skip Johnson = Lang Jeffries
Patty Johnson = Nancy Rennick

Their unit was a '50's Dodge panel truck.

Is there a video link anywhere out there? This is one that I have never seen. Does anyone remember the one from the late 70's that featured the lifeguard, police chief and fire chief on a small island or resort town?

CFD Marshall, Its "funny" I was at My Company xmas get together last night and happened to meet a guy who was ON Patrol 2 from 1970-80, he later Got On Bridgeport, and outlasted me on the job... I invited him to join, he brought an episode INTO the firehouse to show me, Being I was Born In 1958 :

.. anyway, I'll look on line when i finish this BUT either way I'll ask him what he has available since he gave me the copy of the VHS... I also have been beating MY head against the wall TRying to get My VHS2DVD software to work But to date Its been a waste of time and effort
