Around 11:45 East Haven was dispatched for reported smoke coming from the house reported by a neighbor. Car 2 on scene first reporting smoke coming from the basement windows from a 1 1/2 Ranch. First due Eng SQ1 and Battalion Chief Car 4 were off duty on a Fire Alarm. Car 1 on scene calling a working fire in the basement.
Units on the Initial dispatch were E4,5,6, Trk 3, R1,2,Sq5. Car 1,2,3 also on scene. Sq 1 and Car 4 responded about 10 mins into the call. Several pets have died in the fire.
