Incident Location: 148 Greenbelt Lane
On the night of Saturday, October 12th, 2024, the East Meadow Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Greenbelt Lane off Grace Lane. Firefighters stretched four hand lines and put at least two of those hand lines into operation for fire in a two-story, Levitt style home. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. East Meadow Chief of Department James Walsh [6100] had command of the incident (Text Credit K2M).
