On the night of Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, the East Williston Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on East Williston Avenue off Roslyn Road. Firefighters put one hand line into operation for a fire on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling. The fire was quickly extinguished, and all occupants made it out of the home safely. East Williston Fire Department Chief of Department Nick DiPasquale [8100] had command of the incident and the cause of the fire is being investigated. Text courtesy K2M Photography.
