Elizabeth NJ Fire Officers IAFF Local 2040 is in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
In the early morning hours on 6/22, Tour #3 responded to 11 South Spring St. for a report of smoke in the area. While responding dispatch reported receiving multiple calls reporting a building fire. Upon arrival, Engine 1 confirmed a working fire in a 2 story, attached row frame, with the main body of fire located in the cockloft. All first alarm companies went to work on arrival, the 2nd alarm was struck shortly after and companies were able to bring the fire under control quickly.
