Farmingdale NY (Nassau) Working Fire 6/16/22

On Thursday, June 16th just after 1:30a, the Farmingdale Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Staples St. Dispatched on a dual response, South Farmingdale 1st Assistant Chief Mackie [9702] was quickly on scene and Farmingdale Chief of Department Buser [9201] he had smoke showing from the hose and a Signal 10 was transmitted. Engine 923 was first due and stretched the initial line to extinguish a small fire in the kitchen of the house. With the assistance of crews from South Farmingdale, East Farmingdale and Bethpage, the fire was quickly knocked down and placed under control in approximately 30 minutes.
