What are these trucks and what is there mission ?
How are they different from the fcu trucks

The first two pictures are shots of the Cable Rodding Truck used to Clean and rod a cable duct between two different manholes,and then a new cable gets affixed to the rod and when the rodding crew puts the rodder into reverse the cable gets pulled into the manhole.

This picture is a shot of the everyday work truck that will be on a site when a crew is working to perform aerial and underground work,carries all the equipment to perform everyday tasks.

Picture ??? I'm retired 11 yrs so there might be new vehicles that were ordered,.I might be able to explain if you have a picture. You should also be aware that there are vehicles that are assigned to the Uniformed force.

Lately a red and white FDNY EMS ambulance vehicle is parked in front of the Metropolitan Ave Communications garage. Only difference, the lettering was changed to read COMMUNICATIONS, rather than EMS.

EFD274 was a Good Humor man. Didn't always hand out napkins! He worked supermarkets also Bohacks 8)
