Great work, but it looks a few years out of date. I'll post the corrections I can think of tomorrow

A complete EMS unit listing, while available, is probably too voluminous for posting here. However, current EMS category totals may be informative:
Total Tours per Day: 1240 (includes Municipal and Voluntary, BLS and ALS, Tactical Response Group and Battalion Tactical Units; does not include Conditions)
Manhattan ? 22%, Bronx ? 23%, Brooklyn ? 28%, Queens ? 22%, Staten Island ? 5%
Municipal Tours ? 66%, Voluntary Tours ? 34%

I wonder how much this number has changed in the last 10-15 years. When I left working as a medic in Manhattan (2003) I think there were 2 FDNY medic units south of 100 St.

Station 16
15 West 136th St
16A,16B,16C,16D,12Y,16Z,C16 (B16, Conditions 16 is changed to EMS Battalion 16 when the Captain is on the road)

*11F was given to I believe Mt. Sinai EMS a few years ago

I'll write up 10 next time I'm at work (I only transferred a week ago so still getting the lay of the land)

10, from 16 with a few week stop at the HTB in between
I was at "Met" when it was Sta.15 back then. Let me know if the Spanish bakery is still on the south side of E103 between 3rd and Lex. It was open 24/7 and the products and coffee were outstanding.

Charlie, aka "memory master", in the above reply you mentioned that you were a "Met". I have no idea what that is and would it be possible for you to explain to us what a "Met" is.

Also for those who might not be aware, Charlie T., aka "memory master", was a Lt in the NYC Health and Hospitals EMS, which later became the FDNY/EMS.

I apologize to all for my oversight on explaining things more clearly in my last post. I have to remember members here are all from different "neighborhoods" so to speak.
