Fireman Adler died from injuries he sustained while working at a fire.

When I was assigned 233-2 we had a matron named Mrs. Adler. Back then the Matron, just made the beds, was the wife of a FF that died in the line of duty. It was a way for her to earn money. Never knew about her Husband, but this sheds a little lite on it.
