With over 26,000 post here on this web site, Mike Dick, aka "mikeindabronx" has been referred to as "Our Most Valuable Player".
He has been contributing stories of fires and serious incidents from across the entire country, and even the world, over the last several years as a member of this site.
He also contributes various news articles of interest to our membership.

As many of us here know, Mike has been the author of two books related to his interest within the FDNY.

His first book he wrote along with FDNY Lt Tom Barry was a Best Seller titled: "New York's Bravest - Their Lives on the Line"

Most recently both Mike and Retired Lt Tom Barry wrote their second book titled: "Into the Smoke with New York's Bravest".

In addition, Mike also has a great website featuring EXCELLENT PHOTOS he took during the very busy years of FDNY's busiest fire activity.
A time when camera skills were very much required and needed to capture those great shots, before digital cameras or cell phone photos were possible.

If I may also add, Mike is a good personnel friend to many of us here.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH MIKE FOR ALL YOU DO.
