The OP stated that with a quote out for 4 units so quite possibly the $3.4 million is for 4 units. That doesn't sound unreasonable depending on how they are equipped from the factory.BCR said:Is that just one unit ?? Both field Comm 1 & 2 had these as well as the Squads.memory master said:I personally liked the International Harvester "Step Van" that F.C. had in the late 50's-early 60's the best.

Sounds like an interesting setup. Any word on what the delivery date is? Is the orders go for 4 of these? If it is it's certainly a significant change from what they have today. I wonder if that's got something to do with the new electronic member tracking system coming online?tbendick said:New unit being built be seagrave. Will have a raised roof cab like the Engines and Ladders.
2 rear facing seats in cab and access to the command area will be from the rear cab doors.
There will be no doors on the box.
So the contract of $3.4 million to Seagrave was for only one unit? Or was the original contract modified. I don't see how one could cost that much even if you included all of the radio equipment etc.tbendick said:Just one unit at this time
