I attended a convention at the Opryland Hotel in 1983; great hotel.  Saw two concerts with the Oak Ridge Boys in the hotel.

The fire originated in the kitchen of the restaurant located in the Delta section of the hotel. Members had to operate on the glass roof in part of the fire attack. Unique call handled well by the members of NFD.
