Important enabling legislation allowing the NY Fire Patrol to fully begin operations is now before the NYS Legislature as Assembly Bill # A8117 and Senate Bill # S5573.
These bills are now in the hands of the "Corporations Committee" of both the Assembly and the Senate.
It is hoped that these bills will be discharged from committee and voted on by this Friday, June 17th. If this bill does not pass both houses by the 17th we will have to wait until after New Year's before it can be brought up again.
If you are a New York resident, please contact your Assembly Member and State Senator, and ask them both to support these bills.
