what are the jobs each firefighter has on a shift for an engine or truck?

how does it vary with 5 and 6 men engines?

Engine: Officer, chauffeur, nozzle, backup, door and control in 5 man engine door position is not filled
Truck: Officer, chauffeur, can, irons, outside vent and roof

The control man controls the stretch (as in calculates number of lengths, breaks butt from bed and connects to outlet then reports number of lengths and tip to chauffeur) He then moves up to join the door chasing any kinks along the way.
