Incident Location: 25C Stephen Oval
In the late night hours of Saturday, July 13th, 2024, and into the early morning hours of Sunday, July 14th, 2024, the Glen Cove Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Stephen Oval off Woolsey Avenue. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put at least one hand line into operation for a fire in the attic of a two-story multiple dwelling. All occupants made it safely out of the building and the main body of fire was quickly extinguished. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. (Text Credit K2M).
