Glen Cove, NY (Nassau County) Working Fire 1/26/22

Late on the night of Wednesday, January 26th, 2022, the Glen Cove Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Lamarcus Avenue off Glen Cove Avenue. The fire was located around the chimney area of a large, two-story private dwelling. Sea Cliff was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 574. Glenwood, Locust Valley, and East Norwich were also among the departments called for mutual aid. Firefighters stretched two hand lines, put one hand line into operation, and had the main body of fire quickly knocked down. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all occupants made it safely out of the residence. Text courtesy K2MPhotography.
