Incident Location: 52 Warwick Road
Early yesterday morning at around 5:15am, the Alert Fire Company was dispatched to a residence in Great Neck for an odor of smoke in the house. Only a few minutes later, the alarm was upgraded and a “Signal 10”, working fire was transmitted. Alert Chiefs 829, 8210 and 8211 were on scene; along with Engine 824, Ladder 826 and Rescue 828. Mutual aid was requested and received from MLFD and Great Neck Vigilant. Firefighters stretched hand lines and conducted searches, working to quickly extinguish the fire and ensure that all occupants were safe. The house was checked for hot spots to ensure that no residual fire existed at the location. All units were then back in service once conditions were safe. (Text Credit GNAFC).
