I arrived right behind the WF chief and the building was already on the ground. Fully involved on arrival and collapsed within 10 minutes of the first arriving companies. This was a rear yard house

At 04:19 Hartford, Ct north end companies were dispatched to Capen St & Enfield St for a possible building fire. While enroute they were informed of numerous calls now being received. On arrival they had a rear yard 2 story wood frame with an exposure garage fully involved. The house collapsed...
