Hewlett (Nassau) Working Fire - 626 Prescott Place; later upgraded to 2d Alarm.
Sunday Afternoon the East Rockaway Fire Department was alerted for a Mutual Aid Request to the Hewlett Fire Department for an Engine to Standby while they battled a Two Alarm House Fire on Prescott Pl. Engine 405 and Assistant Chief Bristol responded, while enroute they were relocated to the scene where members of Engine 405 operated a hose line on the first floor as well as in the back yard during operations. Units were released two hours later with no injuries reported to department members.
Mutual aid from Long Beach, Lawrence/Cedarhurst, Woodmere, Inwood, Lynbrook, others.
