Incident Location: 31 Maple Place
On December 24th at approximately 17:13 hours, Hicksville Fire Department Assistant Chief 9301 gave a verbal for a signal 10 (working fire) house fire at 31 Maple Place. Shortly after a 2nd alarm was transmitted for heavy fire on the 2/3 corner of the house. There was reports of occupants trapped on the second floor, multiple grabs were made. E935 and TL931 were first due to the scene, A signal 12 (under control) was transmitted after about an hour into the operation. There was one victim evaluated, which turned out to be an RMA. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
