On the evening of Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, the Hicksville Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on New South Road. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation for a fire in a one-story commercial building.
