History of Apparatus in FDNY

Is there a site or other resource(s) detailing the a history of apparatus for each unit in FDNY. Wheels of the Bravest is a good resource for an overview of all the equipment up until 1982 but I am really interested in a chronology of the actual equipment at each firehouse - particularly northeastern Queens. Any help would be appreciated

For efd274 -- Your best source for the data mentioned is the Mand Library at the FDNY Training Academy, Randalls Island.  The Library has complete listings of apparatus assignments by company, and is open from 0700 to 1600 Monday through Friday.
