The Honolulu Fire Department is warning the public about a phone scam from callers soliciting donations while pretending to be with the fire department.

Note - I received a similar phone scam call yesterday looking for donations to support FFs and paramedics nationwide with new equipment. I asked a few questions and got a hang-up.
