If the Rescue/Squad arrived on the scene before the 1st due or 2nd due Truck, The Hook would perform the Outside Vent (OV) duties(1st or 2nd due) If both trucks are on the scene Rescue/Squad report to the IC for an assigment. There is some variation on how the companies operate but generally the Rescue/Squads have an inside team (Officer, Can, Irons) and outside team (hook, roof, chauffeur)
