I'll check on that with the Boss, "tbendick", and maybe he can help us.

Signal 73, might be right. I don't know if this site goes back that far or when it was started.

Maybe "jbendick" or "Truck 4" might be able to help us with that also.

We'll see what we can find out.

"tem217", according to "Tbendick", this site had been formed at the time you stated, but on a much smaller scale than it is today. At this point, he is not sure on how to locate that incident you have requested. It might not be posted either unless a member at that time happened to catch it.

It was a time on this site which could be referred to as "Baby Nycfire.net". Not too many of us were around here at that time either.

I'm sure he will do his best in trying to find that incident "if" it was posted on here.

Just a thought, I'm sure there's guys on here that might have responded to Brooklyn Box 0917 during that time and maybe they can contact you. If there was something in particular about it maybe they can help.

Box 914 at St Marks & Troy was always considered the "official" home Box of R*2 while at 1414 Bergen St even though it was around the corner but Box 917 at Bergen & Schenectady was line of sight from the FH..... i would think anybody in R*2 in 2001 might have info on your question for info on the Second Alarm there in 2001 at Box 917.

thank you all again for your input.
the reason for my request is that this fire occurred shortly before 9/11 and my nozzleman died on 9/11
many other members from neighboring companies also responded to the wtc on 9/11

Perhaps Battalion 38 would still have a record or the administrative company may have a copy of the fire report in the building folder.  I forget if that was still the practice then.
It's been almost 19 years - good luck.
